Our Team

James qualified from Guys Hospital, University of London in 1981 and after a period of hospital service went into practice in 1982. He owned his own practice from 1986 to 2018. He has always stayed very much up to date gaining further postgraduate qualifications over the years culminating in the Fellowship in 2005, the highest award that the Royal College of Surgeons can bestow.

He regularly lectures in the UK and abroad, is a tutor for several Postgraduate Dental Deaneries, was a senior Board Member of the Faculty of General Dental Practice, Royal College of Surgeons of England for 9 years, is a Clinical Audit Facilitator helping other practitioners keep their practices up to required standards, is a Fellowship Examiner for those senior practitioners aiming to advance their skills to the highest levels and is a Course Director (Manchester) on the Diploma/MSc in Restorative Dentistry of the Faculty of General Dental Practice, Royal College of Surgeons of England. He is a member of the elite British Society in General Dental Surgery (BSGDS). James’s main area of interest is removable prosthodontics and adhesive dentistry.

Noor graduated from the University of Birmingham and is a general dentist with a special interest in minimally invasive restorative dentistry. Noor is currently enrolled on a part time Masters degree in restorative dental practice at the Eastman Dental Institute, for which she has been awarded the best student prize 2021 for the certification year. Noor has also completed post graduate training in aesthetic restorative dentistry with Dr Chris Orr and enjoys all aspects of general dentistry with a keen interest in dentures. Noor has a gentle and supportive approach and strives to provide the highest standard of preventative and restorative care, ensuring her patients feel at ease.

Outside of dentistry, Noor enjoys travelling, spending time with family and friends playing tennis and baking.

Jassar has over 12 years of private dental practice experience, during which he has mentored and coached in VT-equivalent dentist programs.

Jassar has extensive experience in complex root canal treatments, prosthodontics and digital scanning for crowns and bridges. During his years of dental practice, he has insisted on continued academic development.

He has been a lecturer in dentistry and head of department for a Dental Nursing Academy in the Netherlands.

Jassar’s special Interests include complex root canal treatments, prosthodontics and cosmetic dentistry.

Jassar qualified from Radboud University Nijmegen (The Netherlands) in 2003. Between 2004 and 2015 he was the co-owner and Managing Director of 8 private dental practices. He has also served as a Management Consultant for dental practice start-ups.

Jassar has been a strong advocate for high ethical standards in dentistry. Because the dental profession holds a special position of trust within society, it is our duty to examine, inform, recommend and treat patients with utmost integrity.

Jassar is married and has two children (boy of 14 and girl of 12). A keen Real Madrid fan since childhood, he travels with his son to Madrid regularly to support his team. Hala Madrid!

Divya qualified from Kings College London Dental Institute in July 2012 Since qualifying Divya has undertaken her Vocational Training in general dental practice and her Dental Foundation Training in Oral surgery and Restorative Dentistry.

During her year spent working as a Speciality Dentist in Oral Surgery at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital, Divya developed an interest in Periodontology. She entered into specialist training at the Eastman Dental Hospital in 2016 and successfully finished her training in September 2019. Divya received a distinction and was nominated for the Dean’s List.

She was a finalist for the Wilfred Fish Prize in 2019.

Divya is now accepting referrals at Chelsea Green Dental Practice. She can provide nonsurgical periodontal therapy, resective and regenerative surgery. Divya excels in minimally invasive procedures which are more comfortable for patients.

Anand is an experienced and conscientious general dentist with a meticulous approach who always strives to deliver the highest standard of care for his patients.

Anand qualified from the University of Birmingham in 2003 and then went on to gain his membership in the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2006. He has held two hospital posts in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, which increased his surgical experience considerably. Since then, he has worked within private dental practices and emergency clinics in the southeast regions. In 2016, Anand undertook further diploma level training in Dental Implantology.

With 20 years of experience in a variety of clinical settings as well as continued professional training in the latest techniques and developments in modern dentistry, Anand is able to tackle complex dental treatment confidently. He strongly believes in thoroughly assessing the whole mouth and catching minor problems before they become major ones and aims to provide a tailored plan to help protect your smile for years to come.

Anand has a keen interest in the aesthetic restoration and rehabilitation of teeth through composite bonding, ceramic crowns and onlays, as well as root canal treatments (endodontics) and is embracing the use of modern digital dentistry to provide the best results for his patients.

In his spare time, Anand enjoys spending time with his young family who keep him very busy and when possible, doing off road cycling and getting out on the ski slopes.

Dr. Samaneh (Ronak) Shams is a qualified specialist Orthodontist completed her specialist training at Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’s Dental Institute London, having previously graduated with a Doctorate in Dental Surgery degree in 2008 and worked as principal general dental practitioner. She was awarded her Master of Science in Orthodontics from King’s College London and Membership in Orthodontics (MOrth) from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

Her commitment to providing the highest quality orthodontic treatment is supported by her ongoing professional development and training in the latest technologies and techniques. She is experienced in all contemporary types of orthodontic appliances, including Damon, lingual systems and clear aligners, such as Invisalign. She is a member of the British Orthodontic Society, the European Orthodontic Society, the American Association of Orthodontists and the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh.

Dr Ronak’s special interests include non-extraction treatments, smile aesthetics and design and facial-driven orthodontics. She addresses the needs of each patient individually and wants to help you make a well- informed decision. Dr Ronak’s goal is to provide each patient with the most appropriate treatment at the most appropriate time, and to ensure that it gets the very best results from this.

When not working, she spends most of her time with her family, enjoys an active lifestyle, to be outdoors, running or playing tennis and of course shopping…otherwise, you’ll find her cosied up with her daughter reading Fairy tales!

Nuno qualified from the University of Centro Regional das Beiras (Portugal) in 2006 with honours. Since qualifying, he has continued his passion for dentistry through his dedication to advanced dental treatments.

Ensuring his patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental care, Nuno has vast experience in preventative and conservative dentistry as well as endodontic and dental implantology. His extensive training includes completing the curriculum from the prestigious Dawson Academy, the British benchmark course on dental implantology, the Implant Diploma Taught Programme from the Royal College of Surgeons and post-graduate courses on Invisalign dentistry.

As a cosmetic dentist Nuno loves to solve complex dental problems. He always has an eye for aesthetics and function and routinely applies the principles of Smile Design. Nuno also has considerable experience in Oral Medicine and Oncologic Pathology.

Marianne qualified from Barts and the London, School of Medicine and Dentistry in July 2012.

She went on to undertake her dental foundation and core training in Maxillofacial and Oral Surgery in a number of London hospitals including UCLH, Eastman Dental and Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospital.

Marianne has always had a keen interest in oral surgery, and entered into Specialist training in Oral Surgery at Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospital in 2016 which she successfully completed in 2019. Currently she continues to work there as a specialist oral surgeon.

Marianne has an interest in managing patients with Temporomandibular Disorders (TMD). Over the years she has developed a multidisciplinary service for this at Guy’s Hospital. This has provided her with a high level of clinical expertise as she specialises in a variety of treatment strategies for TMD patients, including the administration of TMJ Botox injections. Marianne excels in delivering holistic care and high quality surgery.

As well as this, outside of work, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her friends and family.

Dr Maria Kalkani is a Specialist Paediatric Dentist and provides comprehensive oral health care for children and teenagers.

Dr Kalkani qualified as a dental surgeon in 2007. She then held hospital posts in Oral / Maxillofacial Surgery at Guy’s Hospital and University College Hospital in London and District General Hospitals in South East London. From 2009 to 2013, Dr Kalkani worked as a children’s dentist at King’s College Hospital and Community Dental Services and as a clinical lecturer to undergraduate dental students at Guy’s Hospital. In 2013, she was awarded the National Institute for Health Research Academic Clinical Fellowship in Paediatric Dentistry and began a four-year specialist training programme in Paediatric Dentistry at Leeds Dental Institute, University of Leeds.

In 2016 Dr Kalkani successfully completed her Diploma of Membership in Paediatric Dentistry (MPaed Dent) from Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of England with the surgical colleges in Edinburgh and Glasgow. She was also awarded a Master’s Degree in Clinical Dentistry with Distinction by the University of Leeds.

Dr Kalkani is a member of the British, European and International Society of Paediatric Dentistry. She has published her research in international peer-reviewed journals and has lectured nationally and internationally on subjects related to Paediatric Dentistry.

Jenny began her career in dentistry over 20 years ago working as a trainee dental nurse. After qualifying, she was invited to train as an assessor for the dental nurse NVQ qualification. In 2004 she moved to London to train in Dental Hygiene and Therapy at King’s College London. She graduated with Merit in 2007 and was awarded the Tutor’s Prize for Achievement.

Since then, Jenny’s extensive further training has included the use of dental acupuncture to treat patients for extreme gag reflex or anxiety. She has also attended the America Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry annual conference in the US for several years.

In 2016, after training in Botulinum toxin A and dermal fillers, Jenny created her company Finesse Facial Aesthetics. She is able to provide aesthetic treatments to compliment the brighter smiles she achieves during her hygiene appointments.

Jenny prides herself on her calm and gentle approach to treating patients. She believes that making treatment as stress free, painless and comfortable as possible is the best way to build up confidence in visiting the dentist and hygienist.
